Chef Gordon Ramsay is all over TV these days as host of Fox’s cooking competition Hell’s Kitchen and the restaurant-makeover series Kitchen Nightmares. We already know that Chef Gordon Ramsay is a character. Now, after coming to an agreement with animation guru’s Cuppa Coffee Studios, Ramsay is all set to be a cartoon character as well, reports AWN. On the surface this pairing seems to go as well as pickles and ice cream, yet Cuppa Coffee President and Executive Producer Adam Shaheen, it’s a recipe for success. “Gordon Ramsay has established himself as a true international brand. We’re taking the essence of who he is and having a bit of fun with it.”
Gordon Ramsay, at Your Service is the title of the new stop-animated. While details are still under wraps, Gordon Ramsay, at Your Service promises to deliver a unique take on Ramsay’s larger than life personality with an animated action-comedy spin that will not only appeal to Ramsay’s existing fan base, but will also reach out to new audiences.
The project will be shopped to buyers at next month’s Mipcom international TV sales confab in Cannes. Cuppa Coffee is in the process of recruiting a writer for At Your Service.
