Do you have someone out to get you and you don’t know what to do? Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) will put himself in harm’s way to keep you safe. He is the ultimate personal bodyguard/private contractor/security expert. But he’s not a glued to any one person. Chance hires out to anyone who may find themselves in danger. When the bad guys decided to make you a target, he takes your place and becomes your Human Target. It may sound like he is all alone, but Chance does have a couple of behind-the-scenes guys: Winston (Chi McBride) is his business partner & Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) is a hired gun, although he looked, and acted, like a techie to me. The pilot episode was full of turns and twists and a longer than necessary fight scene (in my opinion) as Chance tries to figure out who has in it for the beautiful designer of California’s new bullet train.
