So you think Chuck is a no-guts, scardy-cat, spy? When the bad guys from The Ring mistakenly kidnap Chuck’s brother-in-law, Devon (better known as Awesome), Chuck finds out what it’s like to be Sarah and Casey as he becomes Awesome’s handler through it all. The Ring gives Awesome a cellphone with an earpiece and tells him to wait for instructions. The earpiece has a bomb implanted in it that will explode if Awesome takes it off. Chuck reluctantly agrees that the best way to catch the guys behind this plot is to let Awesome play it out. We see how well Chuck has really adapted to the spy life as he plays Awesome’s handler and Awesome channels the old Chuck and freaks out at every little thing that happens. Before being kidnapped, Awesome thought it would be cool to be a spy and do cool spy stuff. After all this, he’s happy just to stay home and play doctor.
